Where will the Race be held?
The race shall start along Esplanade Drive, Shenton Way, Marina South and looping back before finishing at St. Andrew’s Road, the Padang.

How many Race Categories are there?
There are two race categories, the competitive 10km and the 5km Fun Run. The If you register for the 10km run, you would be automatically allocated into the respective 10km categories, i.e. Women 10K (applicable to all), Women Under 19 (below 19 years on race day) and Women Masters (above 35 years on race day). You can also qualify for the Leading Ladies category at no additional fees.If you wish to take part in the Tiffany Corporate Challenge for companies and organizations, register for the 10km race and indicate your Company name in full.

What Time does each Race start?
There are only two start times:
10km starts at 7.30am
5km starts at 8.30am

Can I rollerblade or cycle during the race instead?
No, this rule is to ensure the safety of all other participants.

Can I bring along my pets?
No. Pets are strictly not allowed on the race route.

Will I get a race time?
All 10km runners will be timed by Champion Chip which is an electronic timing system capable of providing accurate race times. 10 km runners are based on gun time as per IAAF rules. 5 km runners will not be timed.

What is a Race Entry Pack?
The Race Pack will consist your Race BIB, Champion Chip Device (for 10km runners only) and sponsors’ souvenirs. You cannot start your race without your BIB number and Champion Chip (for 10km runners), so all participants must collect their Race Entry Pack at the Race Expo prior to the Race Day.

Where and when can I collect my Race Pack?
The Race Pack Collection will be held the weekend before event day on 21 and 22 October 2006. The venue has not been confirmed and an email update will be sent to you informing you of such details.

Where can I leave my belongings?
There is a baggage deposit area. However, only baggage with the attached baggage tag (the perforated section attached to your race BIB) will be accepted.
Runners are advised to carry their minimum essentials to the race to minimize or eliminate the inconvenience of queuing up at the baggage check-in area to retrieve their belongings.

What if I am injured during the race or otherwise unable to finish the race?
Runners who are injured or unable to finish the race need not worry, as manned first aid stations will be located after the 2.5km mark, 5km mark and subsequently every 1.5km mark. Also sweeping cars will transport runners (injured/unable to complete race) back to the finish line towards the end of the race.

Can I change race categories after I have registered?
Changes to race categories will require an admin charge of $5 which will be deducted from the resultant transaction. All request for change in race category should be emailed to info@women10k.com

Why did I not receive my confirmation slip despite registering and
making payment?
There could be few reasons why you have not received your confirmation slip –
The first would be that your registration was not successful and therefore the confirmation slip was not rendered. OR
There could have been an error in your email at the point of registration so the confirmation slip is not being sent to the correct account. OR
The email has been blocked by your mail server and/ or treated as Spam.
You may check your registration status online at www.women10k.com

Where are the water stations?
The water stations are located at every 2.5km mark from the start point.
Water will be made available at the start Point, while the end point will have both water and isotonic drinks.

How long will the route be closed to traffic?
The route will be closed from traffic for 4 hours after the 7.30am flag-off. Roads will be re-opened for vehicles at 11.30am.

Is there transportation before and after the event?
No. Participants who drive can park at nearby Marina Square, Raffles City Shopping Centre or Suntec City.
The nearest MRT Station is City Hall. Train commence operations from 5.35am from Jurong East, 5.42am from Punggol, 5.54am from Pasir Ris, 5.59am from Changi Airport, 5.59am from Woodlands, 6.06am from Boon Lay & 6.26am from Marina Bay.
Participants who travel by taxi can drop off at the following locations, which are all about 5 minutes walk away from the start point.

Am I eligible for 2 cash prizes if I qualify for 2 prizes?
Prizes are awarded to the 10km only; however, you would not be eligible for 2 cash prizes if you are among the prize winners in two different 10km categories. If that happens, you will be elected to collect the higher prize money only. However, your race time and standing for both 10km categories will remain.

What is the Tiffany Corporate Challenge?
Companies will compete based on the total distance completed by their staff who participated in the 10km and finished the distance within 2 hours.
The top 5 companies with the highest distances accumulated will receive Tiffany trophy and plaques.

What are Pre-Race Clinics and how do I register for it?
It is a 3-hour lecture-style presentation conducted by specialists in the field of sports science and medicine, sports equipment and long distance running. There will be 2 clinics coming up on 27 Aug and 24 Sep from 1pm to 4pm respectively to prepare you for your race. The clinics will be held at KK Hospital Auditorium.
Admission is $6 per clinic and we accept online registration.
