Dear Ambassadors,

Thank you for joining our previous running clinic and we hope you had fun as much as we did. Some of you may have missed our first clinic but fret no more as we bring back new and exciting sessions this March!

Join Dr. Tan Swee Kheng as she shares with you the different aspects of stretching and how you can benefit from being more conscientious with your stretching routine. Dr Tan Swee Kheng will keep you active on your feet throughout the session so come prepared with your running attire and shoes, water bottle and a small towel to lie on.

Time:   7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Cost:   S$5.00 per participant/session
(Each participant can bring one (1) female friend to the running clinic, free of charge)

Registration

Interested participants may email to women10k.ambassadors@gmail.com indicating the date of the clinic that you’re interested in and we will send you payment details after. Successful registrants will also receive a FREE Fila shoe Bag.

Each running clinic is open to 30 pairs only so hurry and register now! Invited guests need not register for the running clinic.
ALA Refund Scheme

Your training regime wouldn’t be complete without putting to test what you have learned from your sessions with us. As an Active Lifestyle Ambassador (ALA), you are highly encouraged to bring at least three (3) of your friends, colleagues or relatives to actively participate in a sport once a week.

Join any of the running events in March 2010 and you can claim an exclusive S$10 refund. Not only that, you may also bring a friend to the race with you and we will reimburse the same amount for your friend’s entry fee.

Reimbursement is easy! Simply give us a call beforehand and show your proof of payment at our office and we will gladly give you your S$10 off the registration fee.

Profile

Dr Tan Swee Kheng is a Kinesiologist and Movement Specialist. She obtained her Doctorate of Philosophy in Kinesiology from Michigan State University, USA. Dr Tan is an advocate for encouraging individual’s participation in sports. She actively conducts fitness and running related seminars, workshops, and coaching services for corporations like A*STAR, Cerebos Pacific, CitiBank, Singapore Tourism Board, Temasek Holdings, to name a few, as well as the 2008 Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon running clinics.

Dr Tan also conducts running programmes for the uninitiated to experienced runners. She caters to the busy lifestyle and needs of today’s professionals and demystifies training processes to assist them in achieving their running potentials.

Dr Tan was formerly a national hockey player and was part of the team that won the first and to date only gold medal for Singapore Women’s Hockey during the 1993 South East Asian Games. Currently Dr Tan maintains her competitiveness in sporting events such as marathons, biathlons, and triathlons including the 2002 Boston Marathon in Massachusetts, USA.
